Hello! My name is Kimmy, and I am the founder of Bumbleberry English.
I am a passionate online English teacher and a native English speaker from South Africa with over 6 years of teaching experience, helping children and adults from around the world improve their English in a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
I hold a 120-hour TEFL Certificate and a Bachelor of Education.

Yes. All Bumbleberry English lessons are personalised 1-on-1 online English lessons with a teacher.
How long is each lesson?
Lessons are 25 minutes long.
How does the free trial class work?
Our free trial gives you the opportunity to meet your teacher, experience a real English lesson and see if you enjoy the classes before deciding to sign up.
Do I need Zoom?
Yes. Classes are held online through Zoom. You will need a device with a camera, microphone and a stable internet connection.
Can I choose my teacher?
Yes, you can view our teachers and choose a teacher who is suitable for you or your child.
What happens after the free trial?
After the trial, you can decide whether you would like to continue with Bumbleberry English. There is no obligation to sign up.
Do lessons expire?
No. Our lesson packages do not have an expiry date. You can use your lessons whenever you are ready.
Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Yes. Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled more than 10 hours before the scheduled class. Cancellations made within 10 hours of the lesson may count as a used lesson.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. We offer personalised English lessons for adults, including general English, conversation, pronunciation and confidence building.
Do you teach students from different countries?
Yes. We teach students from different countries around the world through online lessons.
What happens after I register?
Once you register, you can arrange your lesson and receive the information you need to join your class on Zoom.
